Description
Our mission at Oura is to empower every person to own their inner potential. Our award-winning products help our global community gain a deeper knowledge of their readiness, activity, and sleep quality by using their Oura Ring and its connected app. We've helped millions of people understand and improve their health by providing daily insights and practical steps to inspire healthy lifestyles.
Empowering the world starts with living our values and empowering our team. As a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier and happier lives, we ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office.
We are seeking an Associate Product Manager with 1-2 years of experience to join our team. You will play a key role in defining and delivering the Oura experience on iOS and Android. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the development of advanced features that leverage Oura’s unique biosensing capabilities, with a focus on health and activity.
What you will do:
- Assist in managing the product roadmap for Oura's core platforms: iOS and Android.
- Collaborate with scientists and designers to translate innovative research into user-friendly consumer features.
- Work with developers to prototype, launch, and iterate on features that help users monitor their health.
- Support the translation of product strategy into clear requirements, acting as a liaison between leadership and your team.
- Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders across the organization to ensure transparency in product development.
- Partner with marketing teams to define strategies for launching new features.
- Analyze data with data scientists to assess feature success and identify opportunities for improvement.
This is a remote US role. We have offices in San Francisco and San Diego for those who prefer hybrid or office settings. Oura employees in other major cities (like Boston and New York) occasionally gather informally at local co-working locations.
Requirements
We would love to have you on our team if you have:
- 1-2 years of experience in product management or a related field such as project management or technology field, preferably with a focus on mobile applications.
- Familiarity with data science, AI, or ML principles and their application in product development.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across different time zones.
- Basic technical knowledge, with a willingness to learn about mobile app development and user experience design.
- Strong communication skills to clearly articulate ideas and product concepts in English.
- An organized approach to documentation and meeting notes.
- A passion for consumer health technology and a desire to contribute to innovative wellness solutions.
Benefits
At Oura, we care about you and your well-being. Everyone here at Oura has a ring of their own and we are continually looking to improve employee health.
What we offer:
- Competitive salary and equity packages
- Health, dental, vision insurance, and mental health resources
- An Oura Ring of your own plus employee discounts for friends & family
- 20 days of paid time off plus 13 paid holidays plus 8 days of flexible wellness time off
- Paid sick leave and parental leave
Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
- Region 1: $120,000 - $150,000
- Region 2: $110,000 - $138,000
- Region 3: $102,000 - $128,000
A recruiter can determine your zones/tiers based on your US location.
