Your Mission

As a Backend Engineer at Propeller, you will play a key role in building and improving our existing API to allow better integration with other products our customers use, as well as enabling our customers to get better access to their data on our platform.

You will be joining the Platform team, focusing on developing high-performance shared applications and tools that enable our entire engineering team to deliver great work, in addition to building out applications and services that are used by our customers on a daily basis.

You will participate in architectural discussions with more Senior engineers and provide input on how features are built. You'll develop solutions that are scalable and efficient, ensuring that our product continues to grow along with our customers. This role will be very cross collaborative, seeing you work in projects across multiple teams and products.

Your Skills

  • You're an experienced Software engineer with strong backend skills working in one of either the Node or Python ecosystems.
  • You're solutions driven and you have the ability to parachute into existing teams and products and build solutions that are fit for purpose.
  • You have a beginners mindset and are keen to learn and be mentored on engineering best practices.
  • You're a team player and a great collaborator, connecting your work with other teams to ensure our customers get the most value from our products.
