So how do we do it?
Our platform provides access to actionable, quick and smart insights to amplify creative effectiveness and shape winning innovation, empowering creators with the agility and the data they need to make better decisions about the ads and innovation they take to market.
Through working with some of the biggest brands in the world, we’ve built technology that lets our customers see their product innovations and advertising ideas through their consumers’ eyes so they can quickly iterate, optimize, validate and learn — increasing their chances of in-market success.
About the team
At Zappi, you’ll be joining a passionate team of marketers who are on a mission to help our own world-class customers, some of the best-known B2C brands on the planet, to evolve their own marketing, advertising, and innovation. We have a distinctive, highly differentiated brand, known for our quirky and fun energy, and for building incredible relationships with our customers. Our customers love us, promote us, and love to get on stage with us. Probably because we love them too! This comes through in our marketing, and in the way we work every day.
About the Role
We’re looking for a seasoned Senior Product Marketing Manager or Director of Product Marketing to join our growing team and help rebuild, elevate our best practice standards, and work with a growing PMM team to establish new foundational product marketing from the ground up. This role is critical for driving measurable impact across product launches, messaging and asset creation, enablement, and competitive positioning while ensuring direct ties to business outcomes like feature adoption, revenue growth and churn reduction.
Joining an existing product marketing team of three under the CMO, you’ll report to the VP of Product Marketing - and step into a senior role to take on independent projects and help mentor others on the team. In addition to the rest of the marketing team, you’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams, like CS and Growth, acting as a trusted voice and collaborator who can navigate the challenges of a high-growth environment with competing demands. If you are passionate about aligning action to ROI, aligning stakeholders, building scalable programs and processes that move the needle, we’d love to hear from you.
This role would have responsibilities and ownership of initiatives like:
Positioning, Messaging & Go-to-Market Strategy
- Craft clear, compelling, and differentiated messaging and positioning that resonates with target audiences. Be able to articulate the unique value of our current solution, new tools and capabilities, as well future innovation.
- Drive alignment on messaging and positioning across cross-functional teams, ensuring consistency across all sales assets and customer touchpoints.
Product Launches & Program Management
- Own relationships with a subset of PMs and run end-to-end product launches, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver impactful comms, launch assets, campaigns, and enablement
- Measure the success of product launches using leading and lagging indicators, tying usage, adoption, and access to revenue impact and churn reduction.
- Provide expert guidance to junior product marketing teammates running lower tier-releases
Content Development & Sales Enablement
- Create new (and help us refresh existing and outdated) sales decks, customer presentations, and enablement materials to support sales and partner teams.
- Collaborate closely with content and brand teams for thought leadership content, including blogs, webinars, case studies, and videos, to accelerate the buyer’s journey and elevate the brand.
- Work with our enablement lead to build and deliver training programs to enable internal and external teams to effectively communicate product value and differentiation.
Competitive & Market Intelligence
- Work with our VP of PMM to establish and maintain a true competitive intelligence program, synthesizing market trends and competitor insights into actionable recommendations for product and GTM teams.
- Equip sales and product teams with ongoing competitive insights and battle cards to support strategic decision-making and differentiation.
Facilitate Internal & External Feedback Loops
- Work with our Director of Customer Marketing on customer advocacy initiatives such as reference programs, case studies, and testimonials to amplify customer success stories.
- Act as the voice of the customer, collaborating with Product to incorporate feedback into the roadmap and improve alignment with customer needs.
- Help us create better internal feedback loops, as well, to optimize our content and collateral using in-field learnings from sales and customer teams
Customer Advocacy & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a key partner to Product, Engineering, and GTM leaders, building strong cross-functional relationships and driving alignment on shared goals.
- Help us establish our presence within key online review sites like G2, Gartner, etc.
- Lead by example, mentoring junior team members and fostering trust across teams to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven Success in High-Growth Environments: Minimum of 6+ years in B2B SaaS, with experience in enterprise or mid-market environments. Familiarity with SaaS Management is a plus.
- Strategic Execution & ROI Focus: Demonstrated ability to tie marketing initiatives directly to revenue impact, feature adoption, and churn reduction, with measurable results.
- Leadership & Collaboration: A trusted leader who has successfully gained buy-in across product, engineering, and GTM teams, and who leads by example while mentoring peers and team members.
- Full Ownership of Initiatives: Experience driving projects from ideation to completion, building scalable processes, and achieving cross-functional alignment.
- Competitive Intelligence Expertise: Strong experience in building and managing competitive intelligence programs that inform strategy and execution.
- Content & Enablement Mastery: Ability to create high-impact assets and tools that drive enablement success and ensure GTM teams are equipped to excel.
- Resilience & Adaptability: Someone who has been through the challenges of high-growth companies, learned from successes and failures, and is motivated to rebuild and improve from the ground up.
Benefits
- Salary range $170,000 - 180,000 base per annum + bonus. Salaries are benchmarked annually
- Unlimited holidays – we want well rested and motivated teams so encourage people to take plenty of time off. We don’t cap your allowance, but do set a minimum of at least 20 days per year plus national holidays
- Three company-paid mental health days of rest every year (these are pre-scheduled, so the entire company can take the same days off regularly to reset)
- Flexible working arrangements, including remote (unless otherwise specified)
- Thoughtfully designed offices to support both individual work and collaboration without interrupting others
- Support setting up your home office, if appropriate
- Wellbeing benefits and access to trained therapists / counsellors
- Company paid Life, AD&D, Short term & Long term disability
- Immediate access to Zappi's Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Plan
- Option to enter Zappi's 401k program after 90 days of employment, matched up to 4%
- Tailored personal development through training allowances, coaching, mentorship and career frameworks
