Summary of role  

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing, international Marketing function, within a global investment bank. Reporting to the Events Director (London), the Events Coordinator will support the delivery and analysis of both in-person and digital events across the UK, US, and Europe. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a junior events marketing professional with 2+ years of experience to actively engage in both the strategic planning and operational execution of our global events portfolio, contributing to the development of multi-channel event plans and performance tracking. 

Core Responsibilities: 

Multi-channel event support 

  • Assist in the development and execution of a tactical annual events plan that aligns with business objectives 
  • Support both hosted and sponsored event marketing campaigns, ensuring clear deliverables for cross-functional teams 

Event operations & project management 

  • Collaborate with the Events Director to create detailed project plans covering all stages from concept through to planning, delivery, and post-event reporting and analysis 
  • Coordinate operational tasks such as venue research, on-site branding, audio/visual setup, catering arrangements, registration, and post-event reporting 
  • Maintain internal processes including event calendars and trackers to ensure timely communication and project momentum across the team 

Creative & digital collaboration 

  • Work closely with the internal creative team by providing comprehensive event briefs for identity, design, and production of event collateral (invitations, social media assets, etc.) 
  • Assist in drafting outreach materials (invitations, website copy, social media posts) and support the creation of pre- and post-event digital assets 

Data analysis 

  • Support the measurement of event performance by tracking key metrics such as delegate attendance, inbound requests generation, and brand awareness 
  • Assist in preparing end-to-end event reports and contribute insights to improve future campaigns 
  • Help monitor and manage event budgets by recording expenses and tracking resource allocations 

Onsite & technical support 

  • Provide hands-on support during events, ensuring smooth operations, from greeting guests to managing badge desks 
  • Identify and help implement new tools and systems to enhance event registration, data management, and overall event efficiency 

Collateral & print management 

  • Manage the tracking of event branded items, including but not limited to collateral and giveaways 
  • Gather requirements and maintain printed collateral stock in key offices; liaise with internal and external printers 

Requirements

  • B2B event marketing experience (events business or in-house) is essential 
  • Demonstrable experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously   
  • Strong copywriting skills 
  • A history of effective interactions with diverse stakeholders is required 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Experience with Marketing Automation, event registration software (Cvent preferable), Canva, webinar software
