- At Veepee, you’ll have the opportunity to use your expertise to ensure that our employees not only enjoy a smooth payroll process but also receive a tough through compensation and benefits strategy.
- Together with your HR colleagues, you'll work every day to create an outstanding employee experience across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.
- In this dynamic role, you’ll oversee the payroll, compensation, and benefits processes for our teams in Belgium (+/-160 employees) and lead the Netherlands (+/-25 employees), and Switzerland (+/-20 employees). You will ensure everything runs efficiently and that our people are supported with competitive compensation and benefits solutions.
TASKS

- You’ll take ownership of designing and optimising payroll, compensation, and benefits processes, always looking for opportunities to improve efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- You’ll provide expert advice and guidance to employees and managers, ensuring alignment with our internal policies.
- As a trusted partner to management and your HR colleagues, you’ll offer well-founded advice on payroll and C&B matters.
- As the key driver of payroll and compensation & benefits topics, you will also focus on project-based initiatives, such as expanding international payroll coverage and implementing new programs (e.g., introducing a cafeteria plan). You'll play a central role in bringing these projects to life.
- You’ll develop and analyse timely reports and key metrics on employee data, including payroll, compensation structures, leave management, and work patterns.
- You’ll report to the HR Country Lead and work closely together with HR BP to enhance our payroll/compensation and benefits policies.
MUST HAVE skills

- You have at least 5 years of payroll experience in a similar role, with a background in economics, law, or social sciences.
- You’re an expert in Belgian social legislation, especially in payroll and compensation, and you stay updated on changes and trends.
- You have an analytical and solution-oriented mindset, and you’re not afraid of tackling optimization or change processes.
- You’re familiar with various HRIS systems and adapt quickly to new ones. Excel proficiency is essential for this role.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch or French, and English.
- You are very autonomous and thrive on teamwork and love achieving success together – your enthusiasm, drive, and customer-focused attitude are contagious.
- You take ownership of tasks from start to finish, with a strong sense of accountability.
NICE TO HAVE skills

- Knowledge of Dutch & Swiss legislation.
