Job Description:

A client of Insight Global is looking for (2) Backend Engineers to join their technology team in Sandy Springs, GA. This team is focused on a multi-brand digital platform for several large food brands. This platform has a unified code base but unique branding and functionality across the brands. This candidate will be focused on building this platform from scratch, and refactoring code where needed to keep continued migration of further restaurant brands into the platform more efficient. The ideal candidate is strong in backend Java technology, and has a passion and hunger for learning. This is a unique homegrown platform, so this role also requires someone who is not afraid of "the unknown" and is a proficient problem solver/critical thinker. This is a 3 month contract with likely extension.

This role pays between $40-50/hr. based on experience, and is hybrid in office three days a week.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years' of experience in Java development
• Strong experience w/ Java versions 11 ad above
• Strong experience w/ Springboot (version 3 preferred)
• Experience w/ a Cloud Native platform
• Testing experience and ability to create/deploy CICD pipelines
• Hungry personality eager to learn and comfortable in fast paced environments

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Background in food or QSR industry
