Loan Servicing Specialist I Salary Range:

$19.53 to $20.81 per hour plus 10% Shift Differential

Loan Servicing Specialist I Responsibilities:

  • Corrects loans as needed by adjusting rate, term, and payment posting errors in order to create an accurate member loan history.
  • Assists in the maintenance of insurance tracking and collateral securitization and release.
  • Answer incoming phone calls within a phone queue and make outbound phone calls.
  • Process miscellaneous check transactions for the department, including payments, payoffs, and disbursement of checks.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to member inquiries regarding loan accounts and other related matters. Resolve basic issues or escalate complex cases to senior Team Members as needed.
  • Work with members to obtain any missing or updated loan documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of loan records.
  • Review loan documents and data entry into the core systems with precision and attention to detail.
  • Perform quality control and file maintenance reviews on loans.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required.

Loan Servicing Specialist I Minimum Qualifications

Education and Training:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Prior Experience:

  • 1-3 years prior experience in a financial institution or equivalent is required.
  • Loan Servicing experience or equivalent is preferred.

Schedule:

  • Full Time, Second Shift, 40 hours a week, during Department hours of operation

  • Monday - Friday 10:00am - 7:00pm.

  • Saturdays, Alternating on Rotation, 9:00am - 3:00pm.

  • Flex Scheduling and Work From Home Hybrid options available.
