Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have experience in identity and access management (IAM) and experience with implementing and managing multi-factor authentication solutions. The MFA Engineer will play a critical role in enhancing our security posture by ensuring the secure and seamless implementation of MFA across our organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Working with the technical project team and technical writer to create and validate documentation, user guides, personations, and other communications. 
  • Developing FAQs and troubleshooting documents related to MFA implementation use cases 
  • Identify gaps in the support structure and work with partner organizations to resolve them. 
  • Coordinating 3rd tier support for MFA technologies 
  • Responding to escalated tickets and requests assigned to the MFA Team  
  • Coordinating responses to escalated issues and tickets 

Requirement Skills/Qualifications

  • Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication solutions, including smart cards, hardware tokens, and biometric factors, is preferred 
  • Experience with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux 
  • Experience with authentication protocols and methods 
  • Experience working with helps desk systems such as ServiceNow and Heat 
  • Familiarity with support structures in large business or Federal agencies 
  • Maintains a positive outlook and meets challenges  
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
