Come and join a high-growth market leader in software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions within the public health space. As the Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of accounting activities of this private equity backed organization which is on a strong growth trajectory.
The Staff Accountant will report to the Director of Finance and be a key leader within a small accounting team. This is a hands-on position which demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive financial performance. What you'll be doing:

- Under the direction of the Director of Finance, will handle corporate accounting, including general ledger reconciliations, account reconciliations, and billing and payable processing.
- Accounting activities will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
- Preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and other necessary reporting documents.
- Hands-on direction of the month-end close process and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Assistance with outside accounting firm for the preparation and filing of all tax returns.
- Collaboration with CFO in the formal development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Active participation in support of annual audits.
What we're looking for:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- 3+ years of experience in financial management roles with relevant experience.
- SaaS experience required.
- ERP experience (NetSuite highly preferred).
- Understands revenue recognition for a SaaS organization.
- Thoroughly versed in GAAP particularly with technology related requirements, and have strong background in non-routine and complex transactions.
